So for these guys, sailing on the edge of what?s sane, X-Ply would have been a blessing. The all X-Ply body paneling plus ?ever-clear? PVC window of the MISSION X create a side to side-offshore surf sail with a combination of smooth feel and the best durability of any sail in our collection. This smooth feel combined with ?pump-ability?, focused power point and a ?quickly neutral? handling characteristic, make the MISSION X the sail of choice for riders looking for top performance and the highest level of durability in gnarly surf conditions. PRODUCT IDEOLOGY - Designed for down the line wave sailing, and also suits the lighter riders. - A manoeuvre oriented wave sail with direct and responsive feel. - Has a light ?sailing weight? and is extremely forgiving. - Superb ability to de-power in the critical moment of a manoeuvre. - Crystal clear visibility through PVC window. - Absolute highest technology in materials, manufacture and construction. - Bullet proof X-Ply construction, built for serious abuse. CONSTRUCTION - High Aspect Ratio, longer mast shorter boom. Gives fingertip handling with more front-end power located higher in the sail body. - Horizontal shape on the lower two battens for constant sail profile combined with vertical shape on the three higher battens for a ?bladey? - type feel. - Same cut as the MISSON, with the extra toughness of a full X-Ply construction. - Bullet proof PVC window. - Kevlar perimeter; with low stretch, and long life material for the main panels. Puts strength where you need it. - Symmetric batten pockets. A major technical advancement in sail design. Creating a perfect aerodynamic symmetry on both tacks of the sails. - Kevlar stretch control tendons, increase the sails wind range, durability and allow for more controled power.
